Hitting the streets again-Kohala and Moana

Back on street in Pacifica, this time at the corner of Moana and Kohala, there you will find on the walk down Kohala, a huge and beautiful hedge. However, with this hedge comes a problem. It has over-grown the sidewalk, the way it's being maintained is allowing it to come out from the base and slant up over the sidewalk. When I come through, walking the dogs, I have to tilt my head and bend my body to get by, not easy on my back.

Plus it makes passage of strollers and wheelchairs impossible. This is another easy fix though, a tree surgeon, or landscaper can box off the hedge, cutting it straight up, and level off the space needed to get by without a problem.

The sidewalks need to be safe and free of hedges, low hanging trees, debris of any kind, to ensure safe travels for all
pedestrians out to enjoy a walk on the streets of Pacifica. vlb

*PS, neighbors-check out your curb appeal, are your shrubs and trees blocking part of the sidewalk? Can you do something at your address to help make it safer for pedestrians of all ages and sizes trying to get around?*
