'The Project-General Plan and Local Coastal Plan Update'
*The City of Pacifica is undertaking a comprehensive update of the General Plan and Local Coastal Plan to revisit it policies, and frame a sustainable land use, housing, and transportation vision for the next 20 years. (from the handout mailed to Pacifica households)

Pacificans it's your chance and opportunity to share your vision for this place you call home. Pacifica's current General Plan was adopted in 1980, and we've come along way since then. Only the Housing Element has seen updates in 1990, and then amended in 1992.

The General Plan contains at least the seven following elements:

1. Land Use
2. Transportation
3. Housing
4. Conservation
5. Open Space
6. Noise
7. Safety
   

Pacifica is spread out over several communities. You will have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table and have a voice in future improvements where you live! Help improve the streets of Pacifica, California-share your vision. vlb
